In 1997 the debut album by Limp Bizkit entitled 'Three Dolla Bill Yall$' was released. NO ONE CARED. In less than 3 years Wes, Fred, Sam, John, & Lethal were THE BIGGEST BAND IN THE WORLD. This is a look at the events that led up to Limp Bizkit taking over the world. The story before, during, and after. This is 100% fan made. I make 0 profit from views of this video (the band and their label rightfully get that revenue) I was 17 when Limp Bizkit was unleashed upon the world. LB, KoRn, & Slipknot were the 1st rock music I had heard since the original grunge bands that I connected to. The whole world of kids my age did. You can't deny it (even though many try to now.) Limp Bizkit to date have sold over 40M records. Their first 4 studio albums all went platinum. Their 3rd album (Chocolate Starfish & The Hot Dog Flavored Water) is THE FASTEST SELLING ROCK ALBUM EVER. Their performance at Woodstock 99 is in my opinion the greatest live rock performance of all-time. The blame they received for starting the riots & fires at Woodstock only added to their legend. By the way those rumors are just that. Limp Bizkit performed 24 hours before Woodstock went to hell. Did the fans get rowdy during LB's set? HELL YEAH THEY DID! But aside from some sheets of plywood, nothing was endangered during their set. Rage Against The Machine & MetallicA went on to play after Limp Bizkit that night at Woodstock 99. Do you think those 2 bands would have played on had there been riots ongoing just in front of them? Don't believe the portrait the media has decided to paint. Let the music do the talking.
