Formal education vs. real-world experience, and the answer is actually both!

If you want to be in fashion, interior design, or any trade, a diploma, a certificate, even a part-time course gives you value. Without it, there's nothing to work with yet.
But if you're not sure what you want? A liberal arts degree gives you time to grow up, build character, and figure it out. And if school isn't your thing, get on a sales floor. You'll learn more than you expect.
Volunteering counts too. It shows you can learn from a mentor, and that makes you placeable.
The real question isn't which one is better. It's what you want to achieve, and what's the smartest path to get there.
