A Beatles Medley - Blackpool Tower Ballroom Wurlitzer Theatre Organ Sounds (TOIAB)

Enjoy a trip down memory lane with this special performance of two Beatles classics — I Will and Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da. I’m playing these songs on my own Allen ADC-4600 digital theatre organ at home but the sounds you’ll hear are from the legendary Blackpool Tower Ballroom Wurlitzer, recreated through TOIAB (Theatre Organ in a Box).

I Will, from the Beatles’ 1968 White Album, is a tender ballad written by Paul McCartney. With its simple yet heartfelt melody, it has become one of the group’s most enduring romantic songs. In contrast, Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, also from the White Album, bursts with playful energy. Inspired by reggae rhythms and the phrase “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, life goes on,” it divided critics at the time but quickly became a fan favourite for its cheerful, singalong quality.

The combination of Beatles charm and the grandeur of the Blackpool Tower Wurlitzer brings these songs to life in a fresh way, right from my living room!
