Should Foreign Aid Be Spent at Home? | Good Morning Britain

Nicola Sturgeon has won the support of Tory backbenchers as she launched a scathing attack on Boris Johnson over his decision to slash the foreign aid budget, breaking his election manifesto pledge. The Scottish First Minister said it was “deplorable” for the prime minister to backtrack on his commitment to overseas projects. Conservative MPs including former health secretary Jeremy Hunt and Tobias Ellwood have also voiced criticism over the move.
