Today I went deep into Brooklyn’s Chinatown searching for authentic Chinese street vendors serving food you rarely see in NYC. No trendy restaurants. No fusion. Just traditional street snacks made the way they’re supposed to be.
I tried freshly fried oyster cakes straight off the cart, warm lotus root powder dessert, and other classic Chinese street foods that instantly transported me out of New York.
Some of these vendors don’t even show up on Google.
Is this the most authentic Chinatown food experience in NYC?
