Caprock Canyons State Park | RV Texas

In this video we go RVing at one of our favorite Texas State Parks: Caprock Canyons State Park in Quitaque TX up in the Texas Panhandle. Caprock Canyons is home to beautiful canyon views and a wide variety of wildlife including Black-Tailed Prairie Dogs and the Southern Plains Bison that make up the Texas State Bison Herd. CORRECTION: In the video we stated that Lake Theo is an ancient bison kill site because the native folks would hunt the bison as they came to the lake to drink. In fact, the lake area is an ancient bison kill site and has been the subject of archeological study, but Lake Theo is a man-made lake, so the lake itself did not play a role in the hunt.
