ANIMALS and fun fact about them 🧚🏻‍♀️ see details below ⬇️

🧚🏻‍♀️ #Bears - have an excellent sense of smell. Some species can detect food from miles away. A bear's sense of smell is estimated to be many times stronger than a human's.
- Not all bears are giant. The smallest bear is the Sun Bear, which can weigh as little as 60 pounds (27 kg). The largest is the Kodiak Bear, which can exceed 1,500 pounds (680 kg).Bears can spend months without eating, drinking, urinating, or defecating during hibernation. Their bodies recycle waste products and dramatically slow their metabolism.
- Black bears are surprisingly good climbers. Young bears especially spend a lot of time in trees to avoid danger.
- Bears can walk on the soles of their feet, just like humans. This is called being "plantigrade," and it helps them balance and stand upright.

🧚🏻‍♀️ #bats - Bats are the only mammals capable of true powered flight. Flying squirrels can glide, but bats actually flap their wings to fly.
- Not all bats use echolocation. While many species navigate by bouncing sound waves off objects, some fruit bats rely mostly on their excellent eyesight and sense of smell.
- Bats are incredibly important pollinators. Plants such as agave (used to make tequila) depend on bats for pollination.
The world's smallest bat is the Kitti's Hog-Nosed Bat, also called the bumblebee bat, weighing only about 2 grams.
- Bats can eat enormous numbers of insects. A single small bat may consume hundreds or even thousands of insects in one night.
Not all bats hang upside down all the time. They do rest upside down because it's an efficient way for them to take off quickly, but they spend plenty of time flying, grooming, and moving around.

🧚🏻‍♀️ #beavers - Beavers have orange teeth. Their front teeth contain iron, which makes them stronger and more wear-resistant than ordinary enamel.
Their teeth never stop growing. Constant gnawing on trees keeps them from becoming too long.
- they can stay underwater for up to about 15 minutes. They slow their heart rate and store oxygen efficiently while diving.
- They are natural engineers. Beavers build dams that create ponds, which help protect them from predators and provide access to food.
A beaver's tail is a multitool. It helps with balance, swimming, fat storage, and communication. A loud tail slap on the water can warn other beavers of danger.
- They have transparent eyelids. These act like built-in swim goggles, allowing them to see underwater while protecting their eyes.
Beavers can carry branches underwater. Their lips close behind their front teeth, letting them gnaw and transport wood without getting water in their mouths.
- They help entire ecosystems. Beaver ponds create wetlands that provide habitat for fish, birds, amphibians, and many other animals.
