How to Trace a Shape in Adobe Illustrator

This the first part of a series of Timelapse videos as I create a beauty brand. I start by tracing some hands that I found on Adobe Stock because I was not satisfied with the vector options available. This brand is called Melanated Hands and it is a company that creates prefabbed decorative press on fingernails. It is a female-owned, veteran owned, AND minority-owned brand. It's important to convey inclusivity because the brand needs to appeal to a wide variety of consumers in order for it to be successful. Here, you'll see some of the behind the scenes as I begin to create their logo, brand and aesthetic.
