Recently it was announced that Learning with Pibby was rejected by Adult Swim and will not be moving forward as a full series, despite the massive success and 2022 April Fools prank. According to creator Dodge Greenley, never say never but it's not looking likely. Why? Between a large-scale crossover of Cartoon Network and Warner Bros and Adult Swim not being in the best spot financially, Pibby had the odds stacked against it - those reasons matter a LOT more than you'd think, and let's talk about why!
