Starship Flight Test 12 SpaceX Broadcast. Starship Live Updates.

The twelfth flight test of Starship is preparing to launch as soon as Tuesday, May 20. The launch window is expected to open at approximately 5:30 p.m. CT.

A live webcast of the flight test will begin about 30 minutes before liftoff. As is the case with all developmental testing, the schedule remains dynamic and may change, so stay tuned for updates closer to launch.

The upcoming flight will build on data gathered from previous Starship test flights with an upgraded Starship V3 vehicle, expanded Raptor 3 engine testing, a mock Starlink deployment demonstration, and additional heatshield and reentry experiments. The mission will also include a controlled Super Heavy splashdown and further testing of upper-stage flight maneuvers that support future return-to-launch-site objectives.
