This interview with Tiger Woods and his father on Oprah Winfrey's show aired on April 24, 1997 and was one of the most watched interviews that Tiger had done to that point. In the interview, they discuss Tiger's race, his father's thoughts on parenting, life on the PGA Tour (He had just recently won the Masters for the first time), and the impact he was making in golf and the "real world", among many other topics relating to his daily life. This conversation ended up being one of Oprah's most memorable interviews of popular figures, and marks the beginning of a career for Tiger that resulted in him becoming arguably the greatest golfer of all time.
