Rushon District Strengthens Public Awareness on Combating Human Trafficking

In the Rushon district, a meeting was also held with the participation of the district chairman and the head of the territorial commission to raise public awareness about combating human trafficking. The event brought together activists, local residents, and other members of the district’s community. During the meeting, it was emphasized that human trafficking is not limited to a specific territory, but is a global issue of modern society. In most cases, labour migrants, women, children, and patients become victims of human trafficking.

To further raise awareness, officials conducted educational sessions both in the meeting hall and at secondary schools, residential areas, shopping centres, and construction companies. Anti-human trafficking brochures were also distributed to inform the public about this serious crime.
