Aim Centre Workshop - March 2026
Eyedea MedTech Education was delighted to deliver a workshop at the stunning AIM Centre in Sligo—a truly unique environment at the forefront of innovation. The centre brings together advanced technologies, including robotics and immersive labs, to support learning and industry collaboration, and is home to Ireland’s National AI Studio for Manufacturing.
Set within this dynamic space, the session focused on exploring key medtech and life science concepts through interactive discussion and practical insight. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with industry professionals, share knowledge, and explore real-world challenges and innovations shaping the sector today.
What stood out most was the quality of conversation across the room — with participants from different companies openly exchanging ideas, experiences, and perspectives. It was incredibly encouraging to see collaboration happening in real time, with discussions sparking new ways of thinking and highlighting opportunities for growth and innovation across the sector. We were truly delighted to witness this level of engagement and cross-company connection.
Workshops like this are an important part of continuous professional development, creating space for collaboration, fresh thinking, and cross-industry connection. The level of engagement and discussion throughout the session highlighted the value of bringing together diverse perspectives from across the medtech and engineering ecosystem.
A sincere thank you to Mary Harty and the AIM Centre team for hosting and supporting the workshop, as well as the AIM Centre’s commitment to supporting skills development and digital transformation in the west of Ireland. It was a pleasure to deliver this session in such an innovative and collaborative environment.
We would also like to thank Precipart, Lawrence Engineering, ATU Sligo, Arrotek, and others for sharing your incredible team members to take part in this programme. Your engagement and commitment to ongoing learning and development are what make sessions like this so impactful.
We look forward to continuing to collaborate with industry partners to deliver practical, engaging learning experiences that support the growth of the medtech sector.
