Compiling on Raspberry pi 5 2G #rust #raspberrypi #coding

I tried building Neovim from source while working on a Rust project. I had everything set up, but then I realized that 2 GB of RAM just isn't enough if you want to do anything else at the same time.

What's funny is that I remember coding for years on an old computer with just 512 MB of RAM 💻.

So what are we missing? Have software requirements really exploded that much, or have our expectations changed?
