Irn-Bru fans get tattoos to mark milestone 125th birthday of iconic Scottish drink

IRN-BRU superfans lined up to get a free tattoo of Scotland’s other national drink yesterday to mark its milestone 125th birthday.

Scots flocked to The Empire Ink tattoo studio in Glasgow when soft drinks giant AG Barr took over for its first ever pop-up “Tat-BRU” parlour.

Designs were based on the new packaging for Irn-Bru cans and resurrected its famous “Made in Scotland from Girders” slogan.
