Blizzard Slams North Scottsdale With LOTS of Snow!!

Yesterday and today north Phoenix into Cave Creek and Carefree along with North Scottsdale got blizzard like conditions has large of amounts of snow powder blanked the desert. The mountains around Cave Creek were bright white with frozen popsicle Saguaro cactus and slushy roads as the sun melted the snow away. The area around Desert Mountain and Tonto Hills is where the heaviest snow fall could be seen. The roads into the Tonto National Forest were actually closed and to Bartlett Lake as the wintery conditions made it hazardous to drive. Yesterday the blizzard in Carefree and Cave Creek left snow all over the roads and on Black Mountain.
