Playing Beat Saber in Unthinkable Places(Behind the Scenes)

This video highlights some of the behind the scenes and fails from my "Playing Beat Saber in unexpected locations" video. It doesn't look like it initially but a lot actually went into this 2 minutes. I did not want to do anything overly complicated so just made a mishmash of some of the extra things we captured while filming.

The quest does not work in sunlight. It uses Cameras and Infrared lights to track the controller position and the sun overpowers it. Because of this all the shots were done at Dawn/Dusk, in shade or HEAVY overcast. Normal overcast is not enough it needs to be real heavy and dark which is unfortunately a luxury in the desert where I live. For this reason It took about a month to collect them all and I probably played the song over 100x.

I live in Reno NV, the goal was to start in my house, head out into the city and then too some of surrounding nature areas before ending up in the middle of no where. These are all the major places to check(within 2 hours away) out if you visit Reno NV. It hard to tell but the lakes shown are 3 different lakes heading out in 3 different direction from the city.

The Quest also made things difficult since the headset footage records at a variable frame rate meaning the audio is always out of sync. I had to sync the audio to the in game footage, then sync that footage to my camera footage of me playing at the location, and then cut it up and try to match the frames together the best I could.
