family therapist for twenty-five years, nineteen of those
she trained and supervised psychiatry and psychology
residents in the child and adolescent department at the
University of Texas Mental Science Institute and on the
adolescent inpatient unit of Harris County Psychiatric
Center. However, Colleen, found that her real expertise
was earned in the trenches while raising her own
