Rebatching old Cold Process Soap - watch till end to see what this soap does! Soy and Shea

Not too long after curing my Lemon Myrtle soap, I realise the fragrance had disappeared. These soap bars have been sitting on my shelf for too long now so I decided to rebatch it and add in an essential oil blend and create a fun soap to give away with away with orders.

While looking for information on rebatching I stumbled on a past video from Royal Apple Berry and loved Kenny's technique so much I had to try. Check out her channel - she is so funny to watch.

*** My recipe ***

My recipe was inspired by Royalty Soaps but has been tweaked to include my favourite ingredient, Shea Butter.

If you wish to see more about my recipe, check out this video of me preparing the oils and lye solution for soaping. https://youtu.be/IGEJo3QHvSI

30% Coconut Oil
20% Palm Oil
3% Shea Butter
42% Olive Oil
5% Castor Oil

Superfat – 5%

Lye and Water – I work at 33% Water but you can choose the amount that works best for you. The Lye amount can be calculated using your favourite soap calculator. I prefer to use
