Trying to eliminate the algae on our pond.

It has been hot and dry and our pond is slowly building up moss and algae. It is now so bad that we can't fish from the bank. Si I am going to try to clean up the pond, get rid of the moss, and try to prevent the algae from growing. We are going to treat the worst areas with copper sulfate. Which will make an algeacide and kill the moss. Then we are going to use blue pond dye to inhibit the growth of algae. Hopefully this will keep the old clean and algae free.
