Fantastic Four is a 2021 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team Fantastic Four produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the third Fantastic Four film reboot and the twenty-sixth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Jon Favreau, from a screenplay by the writing team of Christopher Markus and Steven McFeely along with Favreau. The Film stars John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Ansel Elgort, David Harbour, and Dan Stevens.

Fantastic Four was released in the United States in 3D, IMAX, and IMAX 3D on May 7, 2021. Fantastic Four grossed over $747 million worldwide, making it the most successful Fantastic Four film and the fourth-highest-grossing film of 2021.

Plot
Scientific genius and inventor Dr. Reed Richards has his Baxter Foundation project suddenly cancelled by the US Government. Crushed by the news, Reed decides to take matters in his own hands and continue the mission to go up to space for scientific purposes: he enlists girlfriend Susan Storm, best friend and astronaut Ben Grimm and Susan's younger brother Johnny Storm.

The secret mission goes terribly wrong as Reed's spacecraft malfunctions and the four astronauts get stuck in a cosmic storm: they are exposed to cosmic rays and found unconscious by NASA astronauts recruited to rescue the four. Returning to Earth under government custody, the four discover they obtained superpowers from the exposure.

With the world in turmoil due to a rising number of humanity suddenly gaining superhuman abilities or revealing their powers and being labelled as "mutants", Reed, Johnny, Susan and Ben are advised by Susan and Johnny's father Dr. Franklin Storm not to get carried away with their abilities in order to prevent being labelled as "mutant freaks". Reed finds a heroic purpose when he uses his powers for fight crime: as the rogue SHIELD agent Frank Payne descends into villainy and the evil Wizard crosses paths with Johnny again, the Fantastic Four is born as they suit up and embark on an action-packed mission to save the world and prove their worth as heroes: can the F4 use their powers for good and prove many wrong?
