REPENTANCE IS FOUNDATIONAL

As we recognize Christ and place our trust to Him we need to see our sin and choose to turn away from it. God will meet us and give us a new heart that is sensitive to Him. This is a foundational response to the Gospel that we all need.

Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Luke 24:47
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
