SCRIPT

A meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the BRICS countries was held on the sidelines of the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, Thursday, with the parties discussing topics such as the Ukrainian conflict, international terrorism and Ebola.

The international and regional agenda was discussed, with promises of further development and mutually beneficial cooperation on the table.

BRICS is an acronym referring to the founding members of the political cooperation committee: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
