Hiking from D.L. Bliss State Park to Emerald Bay State Park via Rubicon Trail

This was a smoky day due to the wildfires south of Lake Tahoe

The trail hugs the lake as you hike 3 miles to Emerald Bay or the other way around. Plenty of shade, moderate terrain (granite stairs, switchbacks), but a mostly flat, straightforward trail

It's my new favorite hike now (plus it's in Lake Tahoe!)
The views, the weather, the easygoingness of this trail makes it a pleasure to my eyes and body, please check it out if you get the chance!
