Travelling not to escape life, but for life not to escape us | Shivya Nath | TEDxFMS
Coming from a modest background and a humble environment, she broke all the stereotypes to
pursue her true passion. She asks a very rhetorical question that is are you really living or just
surviving? She ends with an important message to ponder upon: It’s okay to mess up and live a
little. She emphasizes on having a simple life, yet that is inspiring each day, no matter what others
think or say. Be your own kind of “normal”.
Miss Nath is a travel blogger, and is known for her award winning travel blog called 'The Shooting Star'. In 2014 she was awarded 'India's Best Young Social Media Professional' at the CMO Asia Awards. She has also featured in the Femina's '35 Under 35' power list of Indian women. As a freelance travel writer, her stories have been published by organizations such as BBC Travel, Lonely Planet India, Nat Geo Traveller India, The Huffington Post, The Hindu and many more.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
