This feels really out of character, but when we were invited to play at the Golden Melody Awards (金曲奖) Heat Festival this July, we spontaneously decided to do a Chinese version of one of our songs -- “juvenile”! 🙈

These lyrics are the work of dear friend and talented writer who goes by the pen name, 是个铃。She didn't translate it line by line, but instead unpacked the story behind the song and spun her own beautiful version, titled “未成年”。We are also very lucky to have drummer Teo Jia Rong and bassist Tim De Cotta join us on this one 🙏🏼

想分享这首歌背后的故事:
新加坡是个多元种族的社会， 然而英语是我们的第一语言所以我们都习惯写英文歌。但这次，有幸参加了金曲奖 2019，所以才特别找了我们的好友 （笔名为是个铃），为台湾的观众以华语的歌词（未成年）重新诠释了我们的原创Juvenile。
这首歌的灵感来自于我(Weish)的初恋。当时，我交了个女朋友，被她的父母发现， 最后还强迫我们分手。从这经历，我深刻的感受到有时要诚实地做自己是多么困难的一件事， 所以想透过这首歌提醒大家勇敢去爱。另外，也想恭喜台湾的朋友同性婚姻合法了 ♥️ 我们支持真爱- 真爱就是真爱！
