This Witch Was Actually Just A Little Man!

This was the first game we managed to beat on the channel. Clock it down, and add it to those speedrun websites.

ShudderStep, is proof that horror games don't require a ton of effort or sense to be scary. Compared to the other horror games we've played on this channel, this simple game actually does it's job in scaring you. Perhaps the formula for a good horror game should be built around the gameplay, rather than gimmicks and atmosphere. Don't get me wrong, atmosphere certainly helps but that's all it does. Imagine playing Silent Hill without any enemies and it was just a fog walking simulator. If this makes any sense: first make it scary, than make it spooky.

Think back on it, this games story made no sense, and what was up with that ending?
