What is a hidden divergence?

Hidden divergence is a technical condition between the price on the chart and the MACD indicator (I use MACD, other indicators can be used too). This technical condition allows us to join the ongoing trend at the most optimal timing and ride the trend.

Here are my key tips to pay attention to when trading with hidden divergence -

When you want to buy with bullish hidden divergence -

1. Find clear higher highs and higher lows price structure
2. After correction down, find higher lows on the chart and lower lows on the MACD indicator
3. Verify on a lower time frame that it supports the trading direction
4. Make sure nothing is there against you on the higher time frame
5. Make sure the risk-reward ratio is in your favor

When you want to sell with bullish hidden divergence -

1. Find clear lower highs and lower lows price structure
2. After correction up, find lower highs on the chart and higher highs on the MACD indicator
3. Verify on a lower time frame that it supports the trading direction
4. Make sure nothing is there against you on a higher time frame
5. Make sure the risk-reward ratio is in your favor
