Welcome to Idaho… State #39 on our journey to all 50 states in a year! Our time in the Gem State was short, but very sweet! After landing in Boise, we grabbed our rental car and headed north on the Payette River Scenic Byway (which was absolutely beautiful btw) as we made our way to the small town of White Bird. Now, with a population of about 100, there’s not a whole lot in White Bird, but it IS home to Killgore Adventures which just so happen to operate Hells Canyon’s #1 Whitewater Jet Boat Tour! So, after a short night's sleep, we made our way to the boat ramp first thing in the morning to catch our boat! And without giving away ALL the fun details, it was absolutely epic! The scenery, the rapids… We can’t recommend this tour enough! And after an unforgettable day on the river we ended our day with the area's most popular delicacy… Huckleberry Ice Cream!
