This Is Proof That The Kaaba Is The Center of The Earth!
Did you know that the Kaaba may not only unify Muslims, but also become the center of the earth?
The Egyptian Scholar of the Sun and Space Research Center based in Cairo published the results of Prof Hussain Kamel's research which found a fact that Mecca is the center of the earth. In his research, he concluded that the position of Mecca was really in the middle of the plains of the earth.
The beginning of his research was only to find out the direction of Qibla in the world's major cities by using mathematical estimates and a rule called the "spherical triangle" he began to draw a circle with Mecca as the center point, and the outer lines of the circle were the continents. He was helped by the topography of the 90s which has become an established theory that scientifically the earth's plates formed over long geological ages, moving regularly around the Arabian plate.
The plates are continuously converging towards Mecca. Based on the results of this study, Saudi Arabia responded by starting a major project to change the world time reference from GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) to Makkah Mukarromah Time (MMT).
It is clear that the city of Mecca is not only a direction of Qibla, but also as a center for coordination of time calculations. If this MMT time is applied, it will make it easier for every Muslim to know the prayer times.
For Muslims, facing the Qibla is a condition for prayer because of the commands in the Qur'an. This agreement applies to fard prayers (obligatory) in a safe condition. When in unsafe and frightening conditions (such as in a state of war) or people who are traveling on a vehicle, it is permissible after initially facing the Kaaba, then following the direction of the vehicle's destination.
If we are in the Grand Mosque and close to the Kaaba, scholars require us to face directly to the Kaaba building. And, if we are inside the Kaaba, we can face anywhere except towards the door of the Kaaba (facing out). This is what the Prophet Muhammad exemplified when he prayed in the Kaaba, he is narrated walking towards the wall and praying.
