Designing and calculating a sewage system in DDS-CAD

Designing sewage systems in a BIM software is most likely one of the most challenging tasks for a Plumbing engineer. The fact that slope has to be consider adds to the level of complexity. Especially when a system has to undergo many change iterations.

In this video Filipe shows how you can design DDS-CAD offers intuitive functions to design sloped sewage systems. Flow directions are directly recognized by the software and sanitary equipments such as toilets, sinks, etc. are automatically connected with the correct flow t-parts. On top of that, the integrated calculation in DDS-CAD applies automatic dimensioning to the sewage system, including the insertion of eccentric reducers where necessary.
