The Moral Costs of the War in Ukraine
This public event discussed the experiences of those deeply affected by the war in Ukraine, especially moral dilemmas and traumas that it continues to cause as they reflect on the meaning of their lives and the role of institutions and communities. Chaired by Dr Markian Prokopovych (Durham University), the event featured military chaplain Revd Andrii Khomyshyn, Prof Oleksii Makarenkov (Zaporizhzhia National University), Revd Dr Brian S. Powers (Durham University), Prof Michael Snape (Durham University), and Tetiana Stawnychy (Caritas Ukraine, president)
This event is part of a series of Ukrainian Talks organised jointly by Durham University, Zaporizhzhia National University in Ukraine and Durham County Council.
