A Year of the Bible: Brueggemann on Exile Today

As part of Trinity Church's A Year of the Bible journey, Old Testament Scholar Walter Brueggemann joined us for two Price Lectures on the weekend of March 29-30, 2014. Brueggemann is the most highly regarded American Old Testament scholar of his generation and the author of more than 50 books, hundreds of articles, and several commentaries on Scripture.

In this lecture given on Sunday afternoon, Brueggemann turns his attention to the metaphor of Exile, helping us to examine what that metaphor has to say to people of faith in the present, who often feel as if they are in "exile" due to the incomprehension and even hostility of many non-believing people in today's world.
