On this video, I apologize that I didn't go into more detail but it was pretty straight forward. A capacitor and a diode were short on PP LCM BL ANODE. While I was removing the bad components I accidently damaged U1502. After replacing the cap and the diode the short was gone. I tried to power up the phone and it turned on but it had no backlight. That's when I noticed how bad U1502 was. So I replaced U1502 (along with C1531 and D1501) and now we have a working phone!

During this repair my iPhone board preheater came in the mail, I hooked it up and was able to use it about half way through this video. It worked GREAT!
