andy ward - shenandoah (Private Press Folk)

my friend gave me this lp, the cover is handmade by his grandfather. i don't know when it's from but i'm guessing the mid-60s.
i think the music is from the northeast, perhaps Massachusetts.

the music on the album is performed by andy ward, he is mainly doing covers/standards and kinda sings with that vibrato like paul robeson. his voice isn't my thing, but i really like the guitar playing on this track. it reminds me of the jeremy enigk album, return of the frog queen.
