24 Hr Row challenge for EndED

This Saturday 30th 12pm - Sunday 31st 12pm, the ‘couplablokes’ surf boat team will row for 24hours straight!
We were inspired by the original '24 hour row for mental health’ but missed our opportunity to participate. So for my 21st I decided to organise a personal one.
It’s over a year now my sister has battled with the eating disorder (ED) Anorexia. A severely misunderstood MENTAL illness, ED devours individuals and disorientates families regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. Being a stigmatised condition, it is in desperate need for increased awareness in our society. One in four Australians believes that ‘if sufferers were stronger people, they wouldn’t be doing that to themselves’ which is a gross misunderstanding of the condition. Increasing awareness and developing more holistic treatments is exactly where our foundation, endED step in.
Your donations go towards fostering a community for people with ED to feel safe and begin the journey of recovery. It will also go to small, personalised and multidisciplinary teams that use evidence-based approaches to help people like my sister recover, who is currently receiving their care.
