A note on my pet videos: My cats and guinea pigs get along well. This is unusual and NOT recommended. Cats are natural predators of small rodents such as guinea pigs. You must know your pets and their personalities and temperments, then IF they seem like they may get along with other species SLOWLY introduce them in a completely SAFE AND SUPERVISED setting (read: predator pet on harness and leash ready to pull away from other pet at a moment's notice). Start with someone holding the prey pet securely and having predator pet on harness and leash and just letting them sniff/ say hi from a distance. If anything concerning occurs (snarling, lunging, etc), it is best to not continue attempting to have the pets "play" together.
