In search of DOLPHINS in PONTA do Ouro - Lost in Mozambique Episode 2

After all the build up, we finally make our way to Mozambique to start our epic overlanding adventure!

We start our trip in the very south of Mozambique. Ponta do Ouro is just a few kilometres over the border from South Africa, but it already feels like another world. The name means 'Tip of Gold' in Portuguese referring to the beautiful sand beaches that lead to a cape and form a small sheltered bay.

The tar road that’s been put through from Maputo has changed the dynamic of the town a bit, but it’s still a great little coastal town, with a beautiful beach, and some of the best reef diving in the world in the Ponta do Oura Partial Marine reserve, that runs all the way up this coast line.

In this episode we sign up for scuba diving, try find a sand dune for Jabari and her new friend to play on, and go in search of Bottlenose Dolphins with Angie from Dolphin Encountours Research Centre!
