As cat parents, we know our furry friends are extra sensitive to certain essential oils and fragrance ingredients. So, while we’re pampering ourselves with Sleepy Body Lotion or something else with fragrance, let’s also learn together about which oils are safe to use around cats—and which to avoid!

💜 Breaking Down the Ingredients:
✔️ Lavender – Calming & sleep-inducing, but in high concentrations, it can be irritating for cats (so keep it in areas only you will be touching).
✔️ Oatmeal & Almond Oil – Hydrating, soothing, and gentle—safe around pets in skincare form!
✔️ Tonka & Ylang-Ylang – While cozy for humans, ylang-ylang is toxic for cats if ingested or inhaled in strong doses.
✔️ Cocoa Butter – Great for deep moisture but keep away from curious kitties (cocoa derivatives are a no-go for pets).

So…are lavender scented products or more specifically LUSH Sleepy Lotion lotion fine to use, or should you be cautious if you have pets? I believe if you apply this only onto you and keep your room aerated, avoid touching your pet as soon as you apply product (wash hands after applying if you will) and ideally wear under pyjamas or your clothes.
