Heart Healthy Tips - Blood Pressure - CHI Health
Hi, I’m Dr. Rick Thompson with today’s hint for a healthier heart. Would you believe 1 out of 2 U.S. adults has high blood pressure? It’s called the “silent killer” because it quietly damages blood vessels without causing any symptoms. But you can defend yourself. Take your blood pressure and then take action. Exercise for 30 minutes five times a week. Eat more fruits and vegetables. De-stress and don’t smoke. If it’s still high, see your doctor. We can conquer this silent killer together.
