Maria João Pires has been playing the piano since the age of 4. She has performed on the world's greatest stages and has recorded a fabulous #discography that has been awarded many times. All her life, she has worked to develop and teach a vision of #classicalmusic based on sharing.

In addition to social projects to bring music to underprivileged #children, her project "Partitura" crystallised this thought, this will of another way. One can reach the public through classical #music without being a competition beast. One can develop one's singularity while respecting the score. Maria will even go as far as breaking the codes by sharing the stage with the pianists she spots during her workshops. It is not a first part that she offers them but to play with her. You will understand that when she discovered the Jardin Musical’s project initiated by her young disciple, Julien Brocal, she immediately felt a filiation, a transmission. She immediately offered to support this idea of an alternative path.

This is why we are happy to be able to share with you today this unique musical moment captured in our living room.

At Jardin Musical, we want the artists to be paid 50% of the profits from ticket sales and subscriptions. We aim for a fair and self-sufficient model. But our project is as young as it is ambitious and remains a militant initiative in germination.
