A Special Hammer With A Very Special Job. Forging a 1.1lb cross pein hammer

Let's make this special hammer together and I will share with you its very special job. In todays video I make a small cross peen hammer with a very special job. The hammer weighs in at about 1.1lbs and was forged from C45 (1045). I will also be telling you how you can get you hands on a hammer that I have made in the most recent TMIB hammer raffle. I'm also sharing the new TMIB website and online shop.

I will be making this tool using basic blacksmithing and wood working skill. There will be a section in the video on heat treating and also how to handle tools. This hammers was made for a young man that wants to get into blacksmith. it is to be used on hot metal in combination with an anvil.
