My workday involves patient after patient of primary caregiving. I liken it to Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates - you never know what you’re going to get

What type of advice do you give to those aspiring to be in Internal Medicine:
Primary care needs change. We need more excitement, better ways to time manage. We need thinkers. The innovators.

3 Things that Excite Dr. Dana Corriel about being an Internist:

Long-term.
Bonds.
All same concept but diff words. It’s the crux of primary care medicine!

I would have pursued OB. Or become something other than a physician, believe it or not.
