Fine 1914 Violin by Violinmaker Carl H. George For Sale

(1882 – 1950) Born in Hamburg , Germany, George moved to Canada first and then in 1896 to Chicago. After working for Ferron and Wagner, he then partnered with Wagner to form Wagner and George in 1898.

This violin is a beautiful Guadagnini style in excellent condition. The sound is rich and powerful with a broad spectrum of colors.
