There are ideas of reforming Social Security floating around in Congress and the administration, this would increase monthly benefits for Social Security beneficiaries as described in the video. This is great information for so many people receiving Social Security benefits including retirement, disability, survivors or SSA, SSDI and survivors benefits who have been waiting for a raise to keep up with current times and increasing prices. This is exciting information of the thought of a potential raise to Social Security benefits including SSDI and survivors as well as the other proposal we’ve talked about that was recently introduced to give SSI beneficiaries a raise to 100% of the federal poverty level. If both of these races went into affect, Social Security beneficiaries would get a raise on their monthly benefits as well as SSI beneficiaries a raise on monthly benefits. Millions upon millions of people receiving Social Security, SSDI, survivors and SSI have been awaiting a raise to their benefits as the current amounts simply do not cut it anymore with increasing prices as we have been seeing so much lately, this is exciting news for so many Social Security, SSDI and SSI beneficiaries to potentially think about a raise to monthly benefits or increasing monthly Social Security benefits.
