Automata Horse - Kinetic Sculpture Final Design

I think this will be the final design. I'm 90% happy with how it looks and moves so that is good enough for me.
Everything can be cut with a scroll saw. The only thing you need extra is a race car drive belt from a hobby shop and the gear to turn the belt (also from a model race car)

Originally I cut everything form hand but as I kept making too many changes I asked a company here in Japan to laser cut the leg pieces for me which saved a lot of time! https://anymany.net/

I was so impressed with the laser cut pieces that I bought a small table top laser cutter to try out. It is not great but it works well enough to quickly try out some new ideas.

I tried various ways to make the horse run. I tried a gear in the middle of the body which would spin from a line of gears running down the stand to a handle. It worked well but the gears were distracting so I reverted back to the original design of a belt drive from a race car. I wanted to watch the horse run without my hand in the way so I made some extensions to keep my hand off to the side.
I always wanted to have a sculpture where the grass would move in a breeze as the horse ran but I will leave that for a future model. I went for just a few laser cut pieces of grass I made.
