Dr. Zhivago - Lara's theme (Orchestral Cover)

I created this cover to support my Italian family. Normally we're used to spend time together and enjoy each others company. This year most of us are bounded to stay home and find alternatives to communicate. Therefor I decided to bring them a musical salute by creating this cover.
The images used are photos from our own collection of memories.

La musica ci unisce: proprio adesso che non possiamo stare insieme, abbracciarci e divertirci come abbiamo sempre fatto durante i periodi di vacanza, ho creato la mia versione di una pezzo storico per essere vicino e sostenere la mia famiglia in Italia.

Orchestrating this piece was a challenge because of the difference in volume and ambiance. The Concertina and Balalaika had to be created with my Yamaha Moxf-6 Synthesizer. I also tried to apply some techniques I'm currently learning in the course I'm following. Dr. Zhivago is an American movie (1965) registered by David Lean based on the novel written by Boris Pasternak. The score was composed by Maurice Jarré.
