Another great find from the Eugene collection! I've always been a fan of Barbara Eden, ever since falling in love with Jeannie as a young'n watching Nick at Nite and TV Land. Jeannie, Bewitched, Lucy, Mary Tyler Moore, Rhoda, Lavergne and Shirley, the list goes on -- I've always been attracted to those who don't take themselves too seriously. I was only 4 when this show came out so I obviously missed it, but I later became fans of Jennie Garth and Shawnee Smith for similar reasons, Shawnee was hilarious in Becker and that show ran while I was 12 - 18 so obviously I was obsessed. Jennie in What I Like About You... Aaaaanyway, this is Brand New Life! It premiered with the 2 hour TV movie pilot that kicks off this video, originally in 1989 but this is a Magical World of Disney presentation from June 1990. The movie was popular enough to spark a series that lasted only 5 episodes. Episode 4 is from the premiere, Episode 5 is a rerun. All from 1990 NBC with original commercials.
