Working in the entertainment industry is, without a doubt, a ton of hard work and we can only assume how undeniably difficult it must be for the celebrities that we know and love. But performing while pregnant can bring a whole new level of stress and pressure to a job that can already be difficult to keep up with. The toll pregnancy can take on anybody is a lot to handle and it’s all heavily affected by the mental and physical strain that pregnancy puts on the body. But somehow, these women find a way to do it and do it well.

Performers like Beyonce, Cardi B and recently, Katy Perry are just a few of the overwhelmingly talented women who have been able to absolutely kill it in their careers while being pregnant and having to take extra measures to take care of themselves. Some celebrities are required to keep up with challenging choreography, some have to find ways for production crews to hide their baby bumps while on screen, some have to find ways to continue to give it their all when competing and some celebrities go all in and choose to perform even when they’re due to give birth in just a few days (or hours, in some cases).

We can learn a lot from these artists, actresses, comedians and athletes who are moving the needle in showing the world that it’s completely possible to work and start a family simultaneously and on your own terms.
