Saving a Baby Ostrich From Euthanasia (Kevins MAD) *gone sussy 😳*

Today we save a smol bean from gettin the oll “shovel to the neck treatment” as his previous owner would say!

In this situation the bean was born with either a split tendon or another leg deformity right out of the egg! This happens somewhat often with ratite farming and in the wild this chick would not have survived. Had we not picked him up he would have been euthanized. Our goal now is to work with our vets and team to see what we can do to correct the deformities so half squat can walk well again!

Just like the emu and rhea we picked up last week sons! 👨🏻‍🌾🤝
